Transfer by GT coach to the port of Cannigione or Palau. Where a motor yacht will be waiting to take the guests to the Archipelago of La Maddalena, first national geo-marine park in Sardinia, Situated a short distance from the shores of the Costa Smeralda, in a sea often tormented by the mistral winds, the magical Maddalena Archipelago holds it's own against the elements.
The island chain consists of a group of islands and rocky atolls, whose combined surface does not exceed 50 square kilometres.
This extraordinary group of uncontaminated islands has long been known as the "Polynesia of Italy". It is quite simply a beautiful sight, set in crystal clear turquoise and blue waters, bordered by the whitest of beaches, with the exception of the pink beach on the island of Budelli.
The colouration is due to the presence of microscopic organisms of corral origin. Mediterranean shrubs, juniper, myrtle and the famous "macchia
mediterranea", cover the islands, blending in with the granite masses sculptured into strange and fantastic shapes by the erosive action of the wind, adding to the wild and uncontaminated scenery. A light lunch will be served on board.
